We received a wonderful workshop recently to our Year 5 who have been exploring the topic: ‘Rivers’. We have specifically focused on developing the children’s knowledge, skills and understanding in Geography.

Our children have had a busy week back at school and some of them have taken part in various sports matches.  See below for the results! 

The PTA raised an amazing £200 in the doughnut sale this week.  They have also very kindly awarded the school £2,000 towards new books and further support for our library bus. 

A huge thank you to the PTA for their support!

 

Alison Hollands who is our QTVI for Belmont (Qualified Teacher for children and young people with vision impairment), was selected to be part of the 10 European Ambassadors. She recently took a trip to the head office of Lego in Denmark where she trained and qualified as a Play Hero Facilitator and a Lego Braille Bricks Ambassador.
